“A friend of mine made these for us for dinner a while back…she finally gave me the recipe…these make a perfect side dish…and are company worthy…she didn’t really give me any measurement except for the amount of potatoes.”
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds potatoes (scrubbed and cut in half, 6 small)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoons oregano (or seasoning of your choice)
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Step 2
Melt butter and pour into a 9X13 inch pan and spread evenly across the bottom.
Step 3
Generously sprinkle Parmesan cheese and lightly sprinkle other seasonings all over the butter.
Step 4
Place potato halves face down on the butter and seasonings.
Step 5
Place in preheated oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
Step 6
Cool for at least a FULL 5 minutes before removing from the pan, otherwise the Parmesan crust won’t stick to the potato.
Step 7
Serve on a plate with a side of sour cream for dipping.
