SLOW COOKER FULL CHICKEN DINNER

Hot to make Slow Cooker Full Chicken Dinner

Step 1: Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat, swirling to coat the bottom of the pan. Cook each side of the chicken in the pan once the oil is hot until brown. It is okay not to cook the meat completely.

Step 2: To the bottom of the slow cooker, add the diced potatoes and green beans. Toss well, then lay the chicken thighs on top. Add the garlic, then drizzle over the tomato sauce and sprinkle over the salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary. Now, smear around the sauce using a spatula and try to mix the seasoning into the sauce.

Step 3: Put the lid on and set to cook on high for 4 1/2 hours. Refrain from opening the lid while cooking, or else the potatoes will not get tender.

Notes:

Make sure to add a cup of chicken broth if using boneless skinless chicken.

You can use any variety of potatoes to substitute Yukon gold potatoes.
