Today, let’s cook some poultry, it won’t hurt to take a break from the pastries, hey!
Marinated in a sauce made from soy sauce, honey and mustard then simply roasted in the oven, the chicken becomes half-grilled, half-caramelized and spiced up just right.
It’s a perfect recipe for lazy evenings: put the dish in the oven and forget it!
Note that if you don’t have legs (chicken, I mean!), You can make this recipe with wings or drumsticks depending on what you have in stock.
A sweet and salty mixture that will awaken your taste buds.
* Ingredients:
° 6 pieces of chicken (drumsticks, thighs, etc.) or a cut up chicken
° 2 tablespoons of honey
° 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
° 3 star anise
° 2 cloves
° 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
° 5 cl of peanut oil
° salt, pepper
* Preparation:
Place the chicken pieces in a baking dish and slightly hollow.
Heat the honey over very low heat to liquefy it. Toss it with the lemon juice, soy sauce and oil.
Drizzle the chicken pieces with the honey mixture and turn them several times to coat them well.
Add the star anise and the cloves, then salt and pepper.
Mix and marinate for 2 hours in the fridge in cling film
Preheat the oven th. 6 (180 ° C). Bake the chicken dish with its marinade. Cook for 50 minutes, basting the chicken pieces very regularly with their marinade so that they caramelize well.
Add a dash of water to the dish if the sauce caramelizes too quickly.
Spread sesame kernels on the chicken only before serving.
Take the dish out of the oven and serve the chicken with white rice.
ENJOY !!
