Ingredients:
8 ounces linguine or other pasta
1/4 c olive oil
1/4 c butter (half stick)
1 lb defrosted large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 package McCormic® Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi Seasoning Mix
1 tablespoon lemon juice or 2 tablespoons white wine (optional)
Directions:
Place a large pot with salted water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.
Add the pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add oil and butter, then allow them to become hot.
Add the shrimp and seasoning mix. Stir and cook for about 3 minutes or until the shrimp becomes pink.
Add wine or lemon juice, then stir until well blended.
Add the cooked pasta and toss until well coated with the delicious sauce.
Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
Serve hot and enjoy!
