Sausage, Spinach, and Feta Pasta Recipe

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4-6

Ingredients:

8 ounces pasta (your choice of type)
1 pound sweet & hot sausage, casing removed
4 cups fresh spinach, washed and roughly chopped
1 cup crumbled feta cheese
Olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional garnish: fresh basil leaves, grated Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes
Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
Drain and set aside.
Sauté the Sausage:

While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add a drizzle of olive oil and crumble the sweet & hot sausage into the skillet.
Cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until the sausage is browned and cooked through. Remove excess fat if necessary.
Add Spinach:

Lower the heat to medium and add the chopped spinach to the skillet with the cooked sausage.
Sauté for a few minutes until the spinach wilts and combines with the sausage.
Combine Pasta and Sausage Mixture:

Add the cooked and drained pasta to the skillet with the sausage and spinach.
Toss everything together to combine.
Mix in Feta Cheese:

Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the pasta mixture.
Gently stir until the feta starts to melt slightly and coat the pasta and sausage.
Season and Garnish:

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
If desired, garnish with fresh basil leaves, grated Parmesan cheese, or a pinch of red pepper flakes for a hint of heat.
Serve Hot:

Divide the Sausage, Spinach, and Feta Pasta among plates.
