Homemade Churros coated in cinnamon sugar are the ultimate treat! See how easy it is to make this Churros recipe.

Ingredients:

200 grams of All-purpose flour

200 ml of water

A pinch of salt

1 tbsp of butter

2 medium-sized eggs

Sunflower oil (the measurements for this ingredient depends on the size of your pot)

Instructions:

in a pot, on low heat, add the water and butter and leave it till it melts.
after it’s ready, add the flour and mix till you form a dough.

turn off the heat, and preferably move your pot on another surface that isn’t too hot.

add the eggs and mix.

your dough is ready for piping now! I think you can go ahead with frying at this step.

but I prefer to let it set in the fridge while it’s still in the piping bag.

that way it will hold its shape better.

Another tip to make the dough hold its shape:

Pipe your churros on a tray on some parchment paper, and let it chill in the fridge before frying it.

On medium heat, in another pot, prepare your oil and start frying your Churros for about 3 mins on each side (which can vary depending on the heat) until it’s golden brown.

Let your churros dry for a few seconds before you start dipping them in some sugar, but don’t wait for too long because that can cause them to dry which will make it harder for the sugar to stick.

And Bon Appetit!

Enjoy…!
