CABBAGE AND HAM SALAD

My family loves this cabbage and ham salad so much that I have to make this twice if not three times a week! Just like your usual salad, this also is very easy to make using only mayonnaise, lemon juice, sweet corn, cucumber, ham, and of course cabbage. The simple ingredients are thrown together to create a very refreshing and delicious salad that is perfect for everybody. I love how this simple cabbage and ham salad is packed with vitamins because I make sure as much as possible to provide healthy meals for my family. Enjoy this on its own or as a side dish for a quick lunch or dinner anytime.

You will never go wrong with this simple salad with crunchy cabbage and cucumbers with a light mayonnaise-lemon dressing. Ingredients

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 small head of cabbage (approximately 1 lb.)
  • 4 small cucumbers
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 can (14 oz.) sweet corn (liquid discarded)
  • 8 oz. ham
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅓ cup chopped scallion

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Into thin strips, chop the cabbage.

Step 2: Into small pieces, slice the ham and cucumbers.

Step 3: Add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Mix well until incorporated.

Step 4: Serve right away. Enjoy!
