BEST HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS RECIPE

Ingredients:

Cinnamon Dough Ingredients

1 (1/4 oz) package active dry yeast

1 c warm milk

½ c granulated sugar

⅓ c softened butter

1 teaspoon salt

2 Eggs

4 c flour

Cinnamon Rolls Filling Ingredients:

1 c packed brown sugar

3 tablespoons cinnamon

⅓ c butter softened

Cinnamon Icing Ingredients:

6 tablespoons butter

1½ c powdered sugar

¼ c cream cheese

½ teaspoon vanilla

⅛ Teaspoon salt

Directions:

To Make the Cinnamon Rolls:

Step 1: In a large mixing bowl with warm milk, add the yeast and allow it to dissolve.

Step 2: In another mixing bowl, add the butter, eggs, sugar, flour, and salt. Stir until well mixed.

Step 3: Transfer the dissolved yeast into the butter mixture and stir until well combined.

Step 4: Apply cooking spray in a mixing bowl.

Step 5: Transfer the mixture into the prepared bowl and cover it. Let the bowl sit in a warm area, and then allow it to rise for about 1 hour.

Step 6: Sprinkle flour on a flat surface and roll the dough on it. Make sure to make the dough into 16-inches long by 12-inches.

To Make the Copycat Cinnamon Filling:

Step 1: In a mixing bowl, add the butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Whisk until well combined.

Step 2: Spread the filling on top of the surface of the prepared dough.

To Make The Best Homemade Cinnamon Rolls:

Step 1: Roll the prepared dough down to the bottom side and cut it into 1 ½-inch slice.

Step 2: Repeat this process to the rest of the dough.

Step 3: Arrange the rolls into a greased 13c9-inch pan, and then cover the pan with a wet towel.

Step 4: Allow the dough to rise for 30 minutes more.

Step 5: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 6: Place the pan inside the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the colour turns golden brown.

Step 7: Remove from the oven and serve immediately. Enjoy!
