Apple Pie Filling

I love apple pie filling! I also have a lot of recipes that call for canned apple pie filling… and it’s a little expensive… not to mention that homemade always tastes 1000 x better! This must be one of my FAVORITES and if you were looking for an easy recipe for apple pie filling… you found it!

This recipe makes the equivalent of a box of apple pie filling and takes only about 10 minutes. It’s much better than store-bought and it’s fast and easy! Choose a variety of apples that are resistant to baking like Granny Smith! We love this recipe on its own or served over ice, but this easy to make apple pie filling works great in the recipes below!
