YUM YUM SAUCE

So what is this ever-popular Yum Yum Sauce? It’s a pretty amazing sauce made with fresh onions and garlic. So good, even your picky eaters will enjoy it! The best part is, this is naturally vegan and entirely gluten-free. A big plus for all our vegan and carb-conscious friends. Beware though, this sauce is seriously addicting!

I love making sauce! I think they are wonderful. It dresses your plain and boring dishes into something amazing! Pair this with baked corn or potatoes for an easy and quick dinner perfect for the whole family! You can even use this as a simple salad dressing for a lip-smacking salad you’ll ever have!

Ingredients

1 tablespoon vegan butter

4 cloves garlic

1 c. vegan mayo

1/3 c. onions, diced

salt, pepper to taste

2 tablespoons tomato paste

Optional:

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

2 teaspoons maple syrup

4 teaspoons hot sauce

How to make Yum Yum Sauce

Step 1: Heat the vegan butter in a casserole or saucepan. Once melted, add the onions and garlic to the pan and fry for about 3 minutes or until golden.

Step 2: Take the casserole off the stove.

Step 3: In a food processor or blender, place the vegan mayo, tomato paste, maple syrup, hot sauce, and smoked paprika, plus the onion and garlic. Process until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
