Taco Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 Large prepared pizza crust
  • 1 lb. Ground beef
  • 1 Packet taco seasoning
  • 1 Can refried beans
  • ⅓ C. Pico de gallo or salsa
  • 1 ½ C. Shredded taco or Mexican blend cheese
  • Shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, chopped green onions and sour cream for toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until it is completely browned.
  3. Add the taco seasoning to the ground beef, and saute for a few minutes longer.
  4. Combine the refried beans and pico de gallo or salsa in a bowl, and stir to combine.
  5. Spread the bean mixture out in an even layer over the prepared pizza crust.
  6. Top the bean mixture with the meat.
  7. Sprinkle the cheese on top, and bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is completely melted.
  8. Top the pizza with the shredded lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, sour cream, and any other toppings you may desire before serving.
