Strawberry Cheesecake Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 (14.3oz) package golden oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 (8oz) package cream cheese,softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 (8oz) containers whipped topping
  • 2/3 cup boiling water
  • 1 box (1/2 cup serving size) strawberry gelatin
  • 1/2 cup cold water and enough ice cubes to make 1 cup
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced small
  • Strawberries
  • Crushed cookies
  • chocolate curls

Instructions

  1. Crush cookies in food processor into fine crumbs
  2. Add to large bowl
  3. Melt butter in microwave safe bowl
  4. Add to cookie crumbs and mix well
  5. Press into 13×9 glass dish
  6. Cream together softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth
  7. Stir in 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping until smooth
  8. Spread over crust
  9. Place in refrigerator to chill at least 30 minutes
  10. In a large bowl, stir boiling water into gelatin for at least 2 minutes until gelatin is completely dissolved
  11. Add ice cubes to cold water to make 1 cup, stir into gelatin mixture
  12. Stir until gelatin is thickened and remove any unmelted ice cubes if necessary
  13. Fold in 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping until completely smooth

  15. Place bowl in refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to thicken
  16. Spread over cream cheese layer
  17. Place in refrigerator to chill at least 15 minutes or until completely set and firm
  18. Spread remaining whipped topping over strawberry layer
  19. Garnish if desired
  20. Place in refrigerator until ready to serve at least 4 hours
  21. Store leftovers in refrigerator
