INGREDIENTS
4.5 lbs boneless country-style pork ribs
2 cans Dr Pepper soda, divided
3/4 c BBQ sauce (your favourite, we love our Sweet Baby Ray’s!)
HOW TO MAKE SLOW COOKER DR. PEPPER BBQ RIBS
Step 1: In the bottom of a slow cooker, add the ribs and pour over a can of soda.
Step 2: Slow cook on low for 7 hours or on high for 4 hours, covered.
Step 3: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees.
Step 4: Use foil to cover the cookie sheet and put a wire rack on top.
Step 5: In a bowl, combine 3/4 cup BBQ sauce and half a cup Dr Pepper soda.
Step 6: Remove the ribs carefully from the slow cooker and onto a rack.
Step 7: Brush the tops of the ribs with sauce and place inside the preheated oven.
Step 8: Bake for about 15 minutes, flipping once. Brush the other side with the sauce and continue to bake for another 15 minutes.
Step 9: Once done, serve with the rest of the sauce.
