Ingredients
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 6 bone-in pork chops, 1 ½ inch thick
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp coarse ground black pepper
Instructions
Step 1: To a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Step 2: With salt and pepper, sprinkle the pork. Once the oil is hot, add the pork to the skillet and sear for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
Step 3: Transfer the pork to the slow cooker. Over the pork, rub the garlic and brown sugar. Set the pork chops to cook for 6 hours on low heat.
Step 4: Serve this Brown Sugar Garlic Pork Chops immediately with mashed potatoes, green beans, or over brown rice. Enjoy!
