SEASONED BEEF AND RICE

Ingredients

1 box RICE-A-RONI® Beef flavor
1 lb. ground beef or turkey your choice
2 tbsp. butter or margarine if you prefer
2.5 cups water
1 cup corn totally optional, but it adds a nice touch
3/4 cup salsa also optional, but it gives a nice kick

Instructions

Grab a big ol’ skillet and cook up a pound of ground beef or turkey. Keep cookin’ until you don’t see any pink, then drain the excess fat.
Now, toss in that rice-vermicelli mix, add 2 tablespoons of margarine, 2 and a half cups of water, and your special seasonings. Give it a good stir and bring it all to a boil.
Once it’s boiling, put a lid on it, lower the heat to a simmer, and let it cook for about 15-20 minutes. You’ll know it’s done when the rice is tender and ready to eat.
