MELT IN YOUR MOUTH TOFFEE

These amazing treats are my guilty pleasure! It is okay to have a cheat day and just devour anything that looks delicious, am I right? Well, these toffees will surely make your day extra special! A big thanks to my sister, Anna, for recommending this recipe. I am so glad that I gave it a try because I never would have tasted perfection! I have listed all the things you will be needing so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! Ingredients:

1 lb butter

1 c white sugar

1 c packed brown sugar

1 c chopped walnuts

2 c semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Place a heavy saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Stir until well blended. Allow the mixture to boil. Make sure to stir from time to time.

Leave it simmering for a few more minutes until it reaches 350 degrees F.

Remove the pan from the heat.

Scatter chocolate chips and nuts into a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Pour the mixture on top of the chocolate chips and nuts, then spread it evenly.

Allow it to cool completely at room temperature.

Break it into small pieces.

Serve and enjoy!
