Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 egg
¼ c bread crumbs
⅛ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp seasoned salt
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauces
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 c thinly sliced onion
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 c beef broth
1 tbsp cooking sherry
½ tsp seasoned salt
Directions:
Step 1: Add egg, ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, bread crumbs, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
Step 2: Shape the mixture into 8 even balls, then use your hands to flatten them out.
Step 3: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 4: Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 5: Add the patties and onion. Cook for about 4 minutes on each side or until they turn brown.
Step 6: Remove the patties from the skillet onto a clean plate.
Step 7: In the same skillet with the onions, add flour. Stir until well mixed. Make sure to scrape the bottom of the skillet to get the brown bits.
Step 8: Add the sherry and broth. Stir until well blended.
Step 9: Add salt to taste, then stir until well mixed.
Step 10: Reduce the heat to medium-low, then simmer for about 5 minutes or until the texture of the gravy becomes thick.
Step 11: Add the patties, then cover the skillet with a lid. Reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes more.
Step 12: Serve hot and enjoy!
