Homemade Picadillo with flour tortillas

Picadillo is a Mexican dish. With only a few ingredients, this quick and easy meal recipe comes together quickly. In a tomato sauce, ground meat and potatoes are cooked. For a complete supper, combine this recipe with rice and fresh flour tortillas.


1 pound of ground beef

12 cup diced onion

1 diced green bell pepper

2 cups peeled and chopped potato

4 garlic cloves, minced

8 oz. tomato sauce (optional)

112 cup beef stock

1 teaspoon of salt

14 tsp black pepper, ground

1 tsp cumin powder

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1 leaf of bay

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat.. Cook the beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Cook until the meat is mostly browned, then drain and reheat.
