Unlike other dumpling recipes I’ve made, this is by far the easiest and my favourite! Such a wonderful treat to serve to your loved ones and everybody. Bonus if you love apple so much!

Ingredients
2 packages (8 ounces) crescent rolls
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 cups 7-up (or other lemon soda)
2 granny smith apples (2 apples makes 16 dumplings)
How to make Easy Crescent Apple Dumplings
Step 1: Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with butter.
Step 2: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.
Step 3: Skin the apples, then core.
Step 4: And slice the apples into pieces.
Step 5: In a crescent roll, roll each apple slice and transfer to the prepared baking dish.
Step 6: In a skillet, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the vanilla and cinnamon. Allow the sauce to thicken, then remove from the heat.
Step 7: Pour the sauce over the dumplings, then the soda in the middle and along the edges of the pan.
Step 8: Place inside the preheated oven. Bake the dumplings for approximately 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
