INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 to 2-pound boneless pork chops, thin sliced
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large Egg
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon chicken-flavoured base
- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
- oil for frying (I use canola)
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Wash the pork chops and use paper towels to pat them dry.
Step 2: Pound each pork chop on all sides with a meat mallet.
Step 3: In a small mixing bowl, add milk and egg. Whisk until well blended.
Step 4: In a separate mixing bowl, add the chicken-flavoured base, seasonings, and flour. Stir until well mixed.
Step 5: Coat each pork chop with the flour mixture.
Step 6: Dip each coated pork chop into the milk mixture, then back to the flour mixture.
Step 7: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 8: Add oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 9: Add the pork chops and cook each side for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 10: Place the pork chops onto a clean plate.
Step 11: Serve over rice and enjoy!
