The Crack Green Beans will make even the most picky eater beg. Replace turkey bacon or ham slices with regular bacon. This recipe is a great take-out at any potluck dinner and makes a delicious and easy side dish to any dinner party.


5 cans of green beans (8 ounces), drained

12 slices bacon, chopped, cooked to be crispy and drained

2/3 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup butter, melted

7 teaspoons of soy sauce

1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder


Put the drained beans in a 9×13-inch saucepan. Add the cooked pieces of bacon.

Mix the brown sugar, butter, soy sauce and garlic powder. Pour over the beans and cook for 40 minutes at 350°F.

Mix to coat and toss, serve.
