Ingredients

1 medium regular red potato, unpeeled, 1/2-3/4-inch dice

1 small sweet onion, cut into thin wedges

3 strips crisp-cooked bacon, thinly sliced

1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon finely minced garlic, one small clove

1/2 stick butter (4 tablespoons)

1 (14.5 ounces) can green beans, drained

1 tablespoon dry Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing or Dips Mix (either work)

salt only if desired after tasting

more pepper to taste

How to make Country Ranch Green Beans ‘n Potatoes with Bacon

Step 1: Melt the butter in a medium saucepan or small frying pan. Once the butter has melted, add the onion to the pan along with the potato and pepper. Saute on medium heat until the potatoes are fork-tender. Cover the pan and make sure to occasionally stir everything until done.

Step 2: To the pan, stir in the bacon, garlic, and Ranch.

Step 3: Add the green beans, stir, and cook until heated through. Stir the green beans often very gently while simmering. To taste, season with more pepper.
