I love green beans, it’s my specialty to come up with new ideas when it comes to making green beans! It makes a perfect side dish. Check this BBQ green beans out, you will love it.
You’ll Need:
12 oz package of frozen “steamable” green beans.
5 chopped slices of bacon.
¼ cup of chopped onions.
¼ cup of brown sugar.
½ cup of ketchup.
1 tbsp of worcestershire sauce.
½ tsp of apple cider vinegar.
⅛ tsp of dry mustard.
¼ tsp of pepper.
How to:
According to package instructions, steam the green beans.
Cook the bacon in a skillet until it begins to crisp then add in the onion and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Drain off the fat.
Add the brown sugar to the skillet, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, vinegar and mustard. Mix until well combined.
Reduce the heat to low then add in the green beans. Stir and cook for 5 minutes then add pepper to taste.
