INGREDIENTS

1 ½ c. brown sugar

1 (20 ounces) can pineapple tidbits, undrained

1 8-10 pounds bone-in ham

¼ tsp ground cloves

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

How to make Brown Sugar Pineapple Baked Ham

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 325 degrees F.

Step 2: In a baking or roasting pan, place the ham cut side down. Using a sharp knife, score the top of the ham diagonally, making a cross-hatch pattern about 1 inch apart and ¼ inch deep. Set aside.

Step 3: Whisk the pineapple and juice with brown sugar, mustard, and ground cloves in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring often. Once boiling, decrease the heat and simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes until thickened.

Step 4: Over the ham, brush the glaze, making sure to get the glaze in between the slices. Set aside about ¼ of the glaze for later.

Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 90 minutes or until heated through and the glaze has caramelized, coating the ham every 30 minutes with the glaze.

Step 6: Before serving, brush the ham with the rest of the glaze. Enjoy!
