INGREDIENTS
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 package onion soup mix or use homemade
- 1 ½ c. water
- 10 oz. cream of mushroom soup condensed
- 1 c. long-grain white rice uncooked
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 325 degrees F.
Step 2: Using cooking spray, grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Step 3: Sprinkle the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Step 4: Over the chicken, pour the uncooked rice and sprinkle with the onion soup mix.\
Step 5: Mix the mushrooms with 1 ½ cups of water, then pour this over the chicken.
Step 6: Cover the pan and place the casserole in the preheated oven, then bake for about 1 hour 15 minutes or until the rice is tender.
